Taking Control of Your Own Mental Health

If you want to dive-in more slowly, you can click on the “STARR-ting” Exercises for beginners. Once you are comfortable, start reading each expert’s bio to hear how exercises that each of them champion, positively affect our mental health. You can then check out their resource recommendations and eventually take the “Official STARR Course.”  Improving our mental health is not a “one-size-fits-all” process, however, by providing you with a list of exercises & therapies, as well as a comprehensive course, you can research & choose the ones that work best for you. Many of these exercises can be done at home, but you can also look for practitioners in your area who offer them. There are many options to improve our physical health – with gyms on almost every corner. Now with STARR, we have options to build our own “Gyms For Our Brains” as well.
